| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, July 28, 2021, p. A-5 Helen Alice Schreiner, 90, passed away in her sleep after a prolonged illness on July 20, 2021. She was born in Woodlynne, New Jersey, and grew up in Mechantville, New Jersey. A 27-year Wickenburg resident, Helen was an active member of the Vulture Peak Patchers quilt group and First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg, where she sang in the choir until a few years ago. Helen is survived by daughters Cynthia Washington and Linda Buss; grandson Dean Washington; and granddaughter Ashleigh Mahoney. Her teasing good humor and relaxing margarita parties will be missed by friends and family. She is now happily united with Joe, the love of her life, who predeceased her in 1993. A celebration of life for Helen will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, from 2-4 p.m. at the Country Club Park Club House, 1855 W. Wickenburg Way.
