Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 15, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Reynaldo Gomez Ortiz, 71, passed away on August 7, 2021. He was born on January 2, 1950 in Chiapas, Mexico to Ricardo and Maria Gomez. Reynaldo had a career in construction as a foreman. He married Angela in Mexico City, on April 13, 1970. He immigrated to Santa Rosa, California in 1986 and enjoyed his last years in retirement in Lake Havasu City. Reynaldo enjoyed spending time with his family, exploring new activities, singing, and always willing to help others. He never gave up on his dreams. Reynaldo is survived by his wife Angela Perez De Gomez; children Ricardo Gomez, Angel Gomez, Araceli Leyva, Jose Gomez; Siblings Ester, Hector, Herman, Antonia; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Reynaldo is preceded in death by his Parents; Ricardo Gomez Cruz and Maria Ortiz Martinez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 15th, at 6:00 p.m.; followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., to take place at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, Lake Havasu City. Church Services will be held on Monday, August 16th, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Lake Roman Catholic Church, followed by Graveside services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Lake Havasu City.
