| Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 15, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Gary was born July 14, 1937 in Eugene, Oregon to Burnette and Lorene Peters. They moved to California in his early years. Gary attended Arcadia High School and graduated in 1955. He moved to Parker, AZ in 1972. There he met his wife Sandy. He was in Real Estate and later worked for Parker Ford Motor Co. After 20 years in Parker moved to Lake Havasu, AZ. He joined Havasu 4 wheelers. He enjoyed RVing, off- roading and having coffee every morning with his friends. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy, Sister Virginia Smith, sons Bret, Keith, Leon Ostergren and daughter Eileen Ponce (Ostergren), four grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Burnett and Lorene Peters, daughter Julie Peters and best friend Buster. He is deeply missed by all. |
