Published by Parker Pioneer from Aug. 4 to Aug. 5, 2021 - Parker, Arizona >> May 23, 1950 – June 24, 2021 << Jeri Maureen Shea Boquette passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband, Larry Boquette, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeri grew up in Reseda, Calif., and, at the age of 18, worked as a top model for the Nina Blanchard Agency. She later worked at Lockheed Aircraft then moved to Parker, Ariz. in the early seventies where she was bar manager at Fox's for several years. She moved to Palm Desert for a few years where she worked in the hospitality business for Marriott Hotels. She met Larry during a visit to Parker and they married in 1996 and moved back to Parker. Jeri worked at Rust River Glass for the last 14 years. Jeri had friends too numerous to mention, many of those friendships flourishing for over fifty years, which is a testament to her fierce loyalty to those she loved. She was passionate about news and politics, and loved boating on the river with Larry. We will all miss her so much. Her wit and humor were there til the end. Her courage and love for life sets an example for us all. She faced her hurdles with the heart of a warrior. She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry, as well as siblings Kathy, Danny, Robert, and Beverly Shea. She was a proud auntie and took delight in her various nieces and nephews. Jeri, you will never be forgotten. You did it your way. There will be a celebration for you at Fox's at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 7. You'll be there in spirit.
