Mertz Seright, 81, passed away peacefully at Love & Care Assisted Living in Surprise, Arizona on July 18, 2021. Priscilla was born in Fort Benton on August 30, 1939. She was the eldest of three children, all girls. Priscilla went to school and graduated in Fort Benton, Montana. Priscilla married the love of her life Merle Seright on March 24, 1957. Priscilla was an Avon Lady for 25 years in Fort Benton she was also a farm wife for many years. She and Merle raised three daughters (Debbie, Jana & Dawn) in Fort Benton. After retiring from the farm in 1999 they moved to Salome, Arizona, and came back to Fort Benton to visit family and spend the summers until 2018. Summer celebration was always one of Priscilla's favorite places to go. She enjoyed watching music jams, family history, scrapbooking, sewing, reading, playing cards and visiting friends. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents Cora Lambott Mertz and Paul Mertz. She is survived by her husband Merle and dog Molly of Salome, Arizona. And her three children: Debbie (Jon) Hjartarson of Ethridge, MT, Jana Seright of Sidney, MT, Dawn Seright of Salome, AZ, and 2 sibling Carol Mertz Sullivan of Richland, WA and Alice Mertz Sharp of Moses Lake, WA, 2 grandsons, Daniel Molitor of Great Falls, MT and Brandon (Jodi) Knoles of Havre, MT and great-grandchildren: Braydon, Joshua and Jacob Knoles along with numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. Priscilla specified that no funeral be held. Cremation has taken place at her request. A continual Celebration of Life will be held every time you think of her. We plan on having a graveside service at Fort Benton Cemetery at a later date. See Also: Find A Grave |
