Patty grew up in a small house with a large family in early Fort Collins Colorado. She was one of the first Blue Birds. With her hard work she was awarded a trip to the White House and visited President Lyndon B Johnson. Patty had a harder life than most. She had a back deformity she dealt with her whole life. She never let that be an excuse. She said her dad told her not to let it slow her down. It didn't. Patty married young and raised a family with 2 daughters in her first marriage. She remarried and helped raise 3 more girls. She was mom to them all. She was a sports mom for her kids' soccer, softball, and bicycle. She loved to bake, and cook, crafts, gems, boxing, camping, and video poker. After preparing her girls for life she was able to fulfill a dream and move to Hawaii were she enjoyed retirement on Kauai for 18 years with her husband Jeff. When Jeff retired, they moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ to her dream home. She was only able to enjoy her home for 4 years. Her impression is evident throughout the home and property. Patty's transition to Heaven was a long road, at times painful. In her final days she was at peace as all her daughters were there. She was in no pain at this time. Her last thoughts were to go to the river (North Platte River, Saratoga, Wyoming) a place of piece and comfort she loved. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz Fraze Funeral Home.
