Elizabeth Sharlene Tinsley, age 58, passed away peacefully Aug. 9,
2021. She was born April 4, 1963, in Montgomery, Alabama to Billy Joe
Barlow and Elizabeth Lanette Newell.
Elizabeth had an interest in dragons, reading, hiking, and spending
time with family. She enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren
the importance of family as well as fundamental life lessons.
Elizabeth earned her associate degree and worked as a CNA and home
health care professional. She enjoyed time spent in Alabama, working
in Florida and living in Lake Havasu City.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 12 years,
Peter Joseph Tinsley; her three sons, their spouses and children;
Austin William Dunlap and Rose Marie Dunlap and her granddaughters
Cheyenne Zoe-Amber Dunlap and Samantha Augustine Dunlap of Austin, TX;
Jeremiah Jon Dunlap and Toni Lynn Qualls and her granddaughter
Brooklynn Marie Newton of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Steven Daniel Tinsley
of Los Angeles, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Elizabeth lived a full and adventurous life. She will be missed by all
who love and know her.
Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
