She was born on September 19, 1975 in Parker, Arizona. Glenda was a cage, security, cashier at Spirit Mountain Casino, an MPP supervisor and receptionist at Fort Mojave Tribal Housing Authority. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jody Ray Van Fleet Sr.; brother, Tommy J. Shaffer Jr.; and father, Tommy Schaffer Sr. Glenda is survived by three sons, Daniel Van Fleet, Angel Aragon and Israel Aragon; two daughters, Trishanda Van Fleet and Precious Van Fleet; mother, Patricia McDowell; three sisters, Doreen McDowell, Sierra Schaffer and Sonora Schaffer; and two brothers, Richard McDowell and Brad Schaffer. Funeral Services will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Fort Mojave Tribal Gymnasium at 500 Merriman Avenue, Needles, California. Traditional Services will follow at Fort Mojave Mourning Hall, 700 Harrison Street, Needles, California. Traditional Fort Mojave Cremation will commence at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Fort Mojave Cemetery, 700 Harrison Street, Needles, California. Arrangements were handled by Desert Lawn Funeral Home, Mohave Valley, Arizona.
