| Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 25, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Richard K. McClelland of Lake Havasu City was called home by his Lord and Savior on July 18, 2021 after fighting a battle against Covid. He was just 68 years old. Richard was born April 21, 1953 in Pierce, Washington to Donald and Josephine McClelland. He was the youngest of four brothers; Michael, Douglas and Patrick. Richard had a zest for life and enjoyed his many toys over the years. Whether he was riding his Harley, tearing up the dunes at Glamis in his razor, cruising the waters of Lake Havasu or burning rubber in his Camaro or 55 Chevy. Richard knew how to have a good time with his family and friends. After graduating high school I Washington in 1971, he joined the Navy. After serving a little over two years he left the Navy with an honorable discharge. He then made his career at Boeing as an overhead crane operator, where he worked for 32 years before retiring in 2009. He then moved to Lake Havasu City to be closer to his daughter and new grandson. Richard is survived by his loving girlfriend, Audrey, his son Kevin and daughter Nikki, son-in-law Mikey, grandson Aydin, granddaughter Kinsey, brother Pat, niece Laura, and nephews Craig and Sean. |
