She was raised in the state of Maryland and had a modest upbringing. Mary came to love Jesus at an early age. She went on to marry and have eight children. Among her most exciting achievements was that she sang with the Kathryn Kuhlman Choir. Mary then felt that the Lord had called her to be a full-time "road minister" with her friend Toma. Together they spent the next 30 years plus traveling in their motorhome, east, west, north and south. To earn an income along the way, Mary worked in many restaurants, was a newspaper editor and even did some acting parts. Before it was over, they had shared the love of Jesus to thousands of people in 40 states. Mary then settled in Wickenburg and spent her last 27 years here. She faithfully attended Fire Rock Cowboy Church, did some bible studies at The First Presbyterian Church, and loved Worship Jams at The Place Church. There will be two celebrations of Mary's life. They will be held on Saturday, July 24, and Saturday, July 31; both start at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 180 N. Adams St., Wickenburg, AZ 85390, with a meal served afterwards at Desert Cypress RV Park. The park is located at 610 N. Jack Burden Road, Wickenburg, AZ 85390 See Also: Find A Grave |
