| Published by Today's News Herald on Sep. 5, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Peter Paul Gonzales, known to family and friends as Chauncey, passed away peacefully on August 21st 2021 at 56 years old. He is a loving father, son, brother, fisherman and jokester. Survived by his mother: Mela and siblings: Billy, Yolanda, Tony, Sarah and Hope, children: Sierra, Peter Jr. and Heather, as well as his partner, Sandra. Chauncey was known for having an appetite as big as his smile. Every day with him was surrounded with laughter and our hearts as full as our bellies. He spent the majority of his life right here in Havasu fishing at the lake with his sister at their favorite fishing hole. His prize possessions were his fishing pole, his tools, his bird, and his children. In his youth, he was a respected football player, baseball player, wrestler, master welder, MacGyver, hopeless romantic, and forever the baby of the family. Now with his father, sister, brother, first love, and mother of his children, Marcia Sharpsteen, and the rest of his angels relaxing in Heaven in a hammock eating crab legs. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
