| Published in the Arizona Republic Saturday, January 2, 1960. Cyrus M. Sherrill, 75, taken ill in Phoenix while en route to California, died yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Sherrill was a resident of Waterloo, Iowa, where he was a purchasing agent for the Chamberlain Co. He had been employed there for 52 years. Mr. Sherrill and his wife were traveling to California to visit relatives when he became ill. Arrangements are being made by the Mercer Mortuary to send the body to Waterloo for services and burial. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Sherrill; a daughter, Mrs. Vincent Kremenak; Portales, N. M.; a foster daughter, Mrs. Maynard Dyer, Plattsville, New York, and two sisters and two brothers living out of state. Survived by wife, Alice, Waterloo, Iowa; daughter, Mrs. Vincent Kremenak, Portales, New Mexico; foster daughter, Mrs. Maynard Dyer, Plattsville, New York; sisters, Mrs. Art Stimson and Mrs. Albert Duncan, both of Flandreau, South Dakota; brothers, George and Elmer, both of Waterloo, Iowa; also six grandchildren. Services and interment in Waterloo, Iowa. Arrangements by Mercer Mortuary. Published in the Arizona Republic Saturday, January 2, 1960. |
