| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 29, 2021 ~ Page A-4 Kimberly Leonora Grantham Uldrikson, 50, passed away peacefully Sept. 19, 2021 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 3, 1970, in Scottsdale to Sherrick and Darlene Grantham along with her Fraternal Twin Brother Levi. Premature at birth, Kim was resilient and developed her strong will, positivity and fighting spirit that would carry her through life. She was born into a generations long Cattle Ranching and Team Roping Family in Arizona. This is where her love of ranch and rodeo life began. As a child most of her time was spent on the family ranch in Kirkland, Arizona riding ponies and running wild with her brothers and sisters. Kim spent summers with her grandparents in Idaho and loved seeing her extended family and cousins. The family later moved to Santa Ynez, California where she graduated from Santa Ynez High School in 1989. She moved back to the Wickenburg area and called it home for the remainder of her life. Her greatest loves were her family, her children, her friends, her animals and the Lord. Kim was loving, fun and had more GRIT than anyone around. She never knew a stranger, was quick with a compliment, and anyone who knew her has a Kim story. She had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was contagious. She was an unbelievable horse trader and made life long friends connecting horses to the right families. Kim was met with several challenges over the past years, but nothing ever got her down. Her ability to adapt and overcome was incredible. No matter what came her way she continued to smile, laugh, and just kept on going. Her life was hers and nothing ever got in the way of her living it to the fullest. She was a cowgirl to the core. Kim is survived by her parents Sherrick and Darlene Grantham, Daughter Brittany (Tanner) Blankenship, Son Jett Uldrickson, Twin brother Levi (Melinda) Grantham, sisters Heidi (Tim) Coyle and Holly (Stefan) Jaus, youngest brother Ty (Tanya) Grantham, 11 nieces and nephews and countless Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from both the Grantham and Wright Families. We would love to invite everyone to join us in celebrating Kim’s life Saturday Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. at Rancho Rio Arena with a BBQ to follow. See Also: Find A Grave |
