On Sept.28, 2021, the kind, loving, gentle soul of Chris Straub was
taken back to his Father.

To know Chris was to love him. He loved his wonderful wife Debbie of 37
years. They had many travels and adventures together. Whether they were
on a hike, in a museum. or exploring history it didn't matter to him as
long as he was exploring the world with Debbie.

He loved to fly fish it was his zen place. It never mattered if he
caught anything, it mattered that he was out in the natural beauty of
the world. He loved to look into space and he built his own telescope.
He passed that enthusiasm on to others with his brother Tim at the Grand
Canyon star parties. When someone, or something made him laugh his eyes
sparkled with delight. He was a friend to so many people, and cared
deeply for his friends, and family. He has left behind his wife Debbie,
his brothers Tim, and Mike plus his mother Anita, and his sister Susan.

There are so many wonderful memories that will comfort us in the coming
days. To my brother, friend, mischief maker, and advocate; fly fish the
rivers of heaven with your grandfather, and we will join you when we
can. Chris attended Lake Havasu High School, class of 1975.
