It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynne Marie
Devine, age 68, a 38 year resident of Bullhead City, Arizona on Sunday,
August 22, 2021. Lynne was born in Iowa on March 21, 1953 to Mary Ann
and Clifford Harvey.

In 1959, her parents and sisters moved to Westminster, California and
began a life in Southern California. Lynne graduated from Bolsa Grande
High School in 1972 where she met the love of her life, Rick Devine. The
two married in 1972 and had two children, Jeremiah and Renee.

Lynne and Rick moved to Bullhead City in 1982 for a fresh start. She
began work as a travel agent and eventually became the secretary at
Bullhead Primary School up on the hill. She worked there for many years
and watched many youngsters in the community grow up. Upon leaving the
school district, she worked side by side with her husband Rick at
Advantage Roofing. She finished her career working at the local Avi golf
course before she retired in 2013 and began to enjoy retirement life.

Lynne was a strong, patient, and compassionate woman who loved her
family and friends dearly. She loved her husband, children,
grandchildren, music, the river, baseball, softball (or whatever sport
her kids or grandkids were playing), and anything that would go fast.
She adored the Burros, the Hallmark channel and the second love of her
life, her dog, Toby. She would do anything for anyone at a drop of a
hat. She loved cooking, reading, writing and being around family and
friends. The door was always open at Lynne and Rick's, the wackier the
better, whether it was a taco or spaghetti night, Thanksgiving or the
Christmas Eve party, or just someone needing a place to lay their head
for a night. Family, friend, or even foe, were always welcome (with a
small lecture of course).

For 40 years, they lived, loved, laughed and enjoyed every moment with
their family and all the friends they had come to love over the years,
many of whom they referred to as family as well. No matter what, thick
or thin, Lynne was always right by Rick's side ready for any adventure
he would take her on, and always there for any and all who needed it.
She was one of life's treasured saints and she will be truly missed.

Lynne has been reunited with her one true love. YoYoYo!

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Devine; mother, and
father, Cliff and Mary Ann Harvey; sister, Connie Harvey;, mother-in-
law, Janet Devine; brothers-in-law; Terry Devine and Nick Cease; and
sister in-law, Charlie Devine.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee Nelson of Parker, Arizona; son,
Jeremiah (Amy) Devine of Mohave Valley, Arizona; sisters, Theresa
Castillo and Brenda (Art) Moncrief of Yorba Linda, California; brothers-
in-law, Keith, Duke and Craig Devine; sisters-in-law, Karen Devine and
Karen Cease of Southern California; six grandchildren, Miah, Camdyn,
Joseph, Bailee, Justin, Avery; and a long list of nieces, nephews,
cousins and life long friends.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at
Calvary Chapel, 1690 Newberry Dr, Bullhead City, AZ.

A Celebration of Life to follow at the Los Lagos Golf Club, 6265 S.
Entrada Via Verdes Dr., Fort Mohave, AZ 86426.

Lynne loved the local burros and followed them closely. We ask that any
gifts or donations be made in her name to: The Oatman Burro Rehab and
Recovery Sanctuary 7908 Cardinal Drive, Mohave Valley, AZ 86440.
