GETTER, SR., Roland Sylvester

Mohave Memorial Funeral & Cremation - Kingman, Arizona - Roland Sylvester Getter, Sr., 82, of Kingman, Arizona, passed away at the Joan and Diana Hospice House on July 3, 2021. Roland was born in Elmira, New York on October 17, 1938 to Clarence and Mary (Holt) Geter. He served his country in the U.S. Navy working as a Radio Operator and a Mine Sweeper. Roland married Madell Marie (Lee) Geter and they were married for 62 years. Roland worked as an Aerospace Engineer and owned four laundromats and mail stores. Roland is survived by his wife, Madell Marie (Lee) Geter; and sons, Roland Sylvester Geter II, Michael Gerard Geter. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Geter; mother, Mary (Holt) Geter; and son, Michael Gerard Geter. There will be a private family service held for Roland.
