| Published by The Miner on Oct. 30, 2021 - Kingman, Arizona - Roberta Pauline “Polly” Slama, 78, of Kingman, Arizona passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2021 of COVID-19, Pneumonia and Kidney Failure. The daughter of Roberta “birdie” Morgan and Harold Morgan, Roberta “Polly” was born in Denver, Colorado in November of 1942. She married Vernon Slama who has since passed away in 2003. Some of the family would refer to her as “Big Mama.” She had a big heart and a big voice. Survived by her Children Ginny, Steve, Carrie (husband Bob), Christina and Kristy (husband Jim); Grandchildren Maxwell, Alyssa, Keifer, Steve, Jr., Isaac, Elizabeth (Husband Jessie), Adam, Brandon (Wife Marrissa), Stephanie (Husband Cody), Chance (Wife Ali), Christian, Albert, Jr. (Wife Jamie), Ihilani, Sasha, Kaylean, Ashley, Justen (Wife Taylor), Retha and Jimmy; Great-grandchildren Athena, Nicole, Ethan, Skylar, Lainey, Landon, Kane, Quentin, Lily, Hayleigh, Karaleigh, Mikah, Ellie, Bailey, Hazel, Rayna, Riley and Lila. Roberta “Polly” was a social butterfly and had the gift of gab. She enjoyed watching College/NFL Football, playing her video poker, playing Yahtzee, listening to country music, spending time with family and having the grandkids cook for her. |
