| Published by Mohave Daily News Online on Nov. 5, 2021 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Pete O. Ross, age 70, a 32 year resident of Bullhead City, passed away on Saturday July 17, 2021. Pete was born on March 16, 1951 in Bronx, New York to Frank Ross and Dorothy Durk Ross. He was the youngest of three boys. Pete moved with his family to San Gabriel, California in 1961, where he graduated from San Gabriel High School, class of 1969. After graduation, Pete worked for Dow Chemical in Torrance, California for nearly 20 years before moving his family to Bullhead City in 1989. Pete worked for Harrah's in Laughlin, starting in PBX, then moving to Engineering before retiring in 2005. Pete was an extremely accomplished Theater Organist all his life, easily commanding a three manual organ with full pedalboards, making it look simply effortless to play. He never missed an opportunity to play his heart out, and his music will be sorely missed. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Ross; and his eldest brother, Wade Ross. He is survived by his partner, Tom Lackey; his two sons, Trevor (Misty) Ross and Adam Ross; daughter, Nicole Ross; brother, Stuart Ross; grandson, Devin Ross; granddaughter, Dailyn Ross; as well as his furry companion, Kahlua. A memorial service will be held at 5 pm on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Dimond & Sons Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Rd., Bullhead City. All friends are welcome to attend. |
