| Published by Today's News Herald on Nov. 11, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Dr. Doug Hade passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Oct. 23, 2021. He was born in Burbank, California to Ralph and Violet Hade on Aug. 17, 1953. He graduated from the University of Washington Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 1975. Doug went to medical school at the University of South Dakota in 1981. He then entered the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute and became a flight surgeon from 1982 until 1985. He did his residency at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He left the Navy as lieutenant commander in 1987. Dr. Hade started practicing Family Practice in Lake Havasu City in 1991. He loved his family deeply and cherished all the years with his patients. He is survived by his wife Michele of 18 years. His sons Kellen and Austyn. His mother Violet, brother Gayland (Lisa), sisters Terri Jo (John), and Janice. His first wife Terry. His stepsons Jesse (Pam), Joshua, Tim (Michelle), and stepdaughter Angela. Grandchildren Shyan, Elizabeth, Justin, Isabel, Bailey, Heather, Kamryn, Tyler, Kendra, Evalynn, Addy, Dakota, and Tanner. Great-grandchildren Jace, Kaed, and Hadely. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph and stepson Garrett. Praise God that he is no longer suffering and now dancing with the angels. A service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church located at 1605 McCulloch Boulevard South Lake Havasu City. All are welcome. |
