| Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Nov. 12 to Nov. 16, 2021 - Bullhead City, Arizona - John DeWayne Wood, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Southhill Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on June 20, 1949 in Waynesville, North Carolina. He was the eldest son of Betty Wood and Winford Carl Bryson. John was retired from Southpoint Power Plant. He was the Beloved Husband to the love of his life of 35 years and resided in Mohave Valley, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wood; and his father, Winford Carl Bryson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ursula Wood; children, Dolores Capps, Vincent Adamo, Juanita Adamo and Angel Adamo; brothers, Jerry Wood and Eddie Wood; sisters, Debbie Wood and Regina Wood; 14 grandchildren, nine granddaughters and five grandsons; four great- grandchildren, Emberly Adamo, Bella Brown, Gabriel Valdez and Baby Brown. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm (AZ time) on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Harvest Bible Church, with Pastor Randy Castillo officiating. Arrangements by Desert Lawn Funeral Home. |
