Barbara Lee McHorney (Hammond), age 77, of Laughlin, Nev., passed away 
unexpectedly on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Bullhead City, Ariz. She 
was born March 1, 1944 in Buffalo, New York to Neville and Lelah Mary 
(Porter) Hammond.

Barbara went to Amherst Central High School and continued her education 
at Rochester Institute of Technology. After her marriage to William A. 
McHorney they moved to Toledo, Oregon. She had one son, Michael W. 
McHorney. They spent many years in Toledo until moving to Laughlin, Nev. 
in 1998.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Neville and Lelah Mary 
Hammond; and brother, James Porter Hammond.

Barbara is survived by her husband, William A. McHorney of 57 wonderful 
years; son, Michael W. (Angelita Loy) McHorney; brother, Thomas Tyler 
(Barbara) Hammond; and many extended family members and friends.

There will be no service at Barbara's request.
