Published by Today's News Herald on Dec. 1, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Robert Katschke, born June 21, 1941 in Toledo Ohio, died peacefully at home on Nov. 22, 2021 at 9:15 p.m. with his wife Susan by his side after battling dementia. Bob was in the Navy for seven years. He was a floor installer in Orange County, California and in Lake Havasu City. Bob enjoyed boating, skiing and was a loving, kind man to all. He is survived by his wife Susan, son Bobby Katschke, stepson Craig Stearns, daughters Theresa Bensend, Debbie Virgil, Marie Holden, Dana Taylor, grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Bob will be cremated per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice of Havasu who cared for Bob through his year of dementia. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
