Marilyn Louise Christensen

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Marilyn Louise Christensen, age 86, passed away November 19, 2021, in
Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Marilyn was born and raised in California before moving to Bend, Oregon
for many years, then relocating to Lake Havasu City in the late 1980's
with her husband, Fred (Bill) Christensen.

Marilyn owned a gift shop for many years called "A Country Heart".

Marilyn also had a career working for CPS (Child Protective Services)
helping foster children. It was a cause that was near and dear to her
heart. She was a member of C.A.S.A. – Court Appointed Special Advocates,
and advocacy group for foster children where volunteers are appointed by
judges to advocate for children's best interests. She was also a member
of the Red Hat Society.

Marilyn was an avid reader, and often could be found curled up with a
book. She enjoyed crafting, creating beautiful keepsakes that family
will treasure for many years. She liked going to Bingo and also played
Bunco.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Laurie, Lynda and Lynette; stepson
Troy, eight grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; extended family and
friends. She will be very missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, and stepdaughter, Laura.
Marilyn was an animal lover and supported their welfare, donations to
the Western Arizona Humane Society in her name would be welcomed.

A private Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.

Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
