| Published by Today's News Herald from Dec. 18 to Dec. 19, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Lucy was born to Earl and Bernice Zimmerman in Venita, OK. She later moved to Portland, OR, where she married her childhood sweetheart, Stan Roser. Lucy went to Beauty College and owned Chez Lucille. She traveled the globe and studied art. Her paintings are hung in Greece, France, England, Canada and many states. Lucy had 2 daughters, Deb Tovar of LHC, who is an Army Veteran and jewelry designer in sales. Sandy Muth of LHC and WA, who retired from MCSO in Portland. Lucy retired to LHC in 1984, where her art flourished. She was past president of the Art Guild and won many ribbons during their shows. Her family called her Tommy. Lucy is survived by many Zimmermans: Paul and Carole, Ric and Paula, Craig, Gunner, Hannah, Kent and Gina, Del. Kim and Danny Zanotto, Nic and Jamie Bracisco, and the 3 amigos: Laura, Melodie and Kirsten, and Jim and Quila Buhler. She is predeceased by her brothers, Dick and Oliver; nephew, Kevin; and son-in-law, Dean Muth. Lucy traveled with her friends, Rosemary Tunnell, Janet McIntyre, Laura Winsborough, Joannie Webster and Jean Swenson. Lucy spent her dotage reading, painting, and cooking with her daughters and their good friends, Sammy Sosa and Rob Jankowski. She told us many times she did everything she wanted to do and had no regrets. No services during the pandemic. |
