McGill Carranza was born on Sept. 14, 1963 in Flint, Michigan. He
peacefully passed on Dec. 17, with his children and family by his side.

McGill grew up in Flint, Michigan where he and his siblings were very
close and always looked out for each other. Flint is where he met
Jessica Ferrer, partner of many years and mother of his two children,
Michael and Soyla. McGill and his family moved to Kingman, Arizona in
1998. He found work at American Woodmark and remained working there for
26 years. He was known for his hard work, dedication and generosity.
McGill found happiness in helping others. He enjoyed watching boxing,
basketball and football. McGill was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan for
many years. McGill was fond of being outdoors where he liked playing
horseshoes. One of his favorite places to visit was Laughlin, Nevada
where you would find him playing video poker.

McGill loved the simple things in life. He loved family more than
anything, and took pride in the importance of unity and hard work. He
cherished his memories and often reminisced of his mother and siblings.

McGill is preceded in death by his mother Mary Still; stepfather James
Still; and brothers Max, Johnnie, Gilbert and Jessie Carranza.

Maximilian Carranza; brothers Richard, Bobby and Tony; and sisters
Ernestine and Mary. McGill also leaves behind many loving nieces and
nephews.
