Francis Edward Kenna

Francis "Frank" Edward Kenna, age 73, a resident of Bonham, Texas,
passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. He was born on April 2, 1948.

Frank grew up and attended school in Needles, California where he was an
alter boy at St. Ann's Catholic Church, a Boy Scout of America, and
excelled in many sports. After high school, Frank enlisted in the U.S.
Navy and served his country in the Vietnam War. Upon his return, Frank
moved to southern California and attended Rio Hondo College, played
golf, and semi-pro football on the Rhinos who were the farm team for the
Rams.

Then he started a family and married his former wife with whom he had
two children; Aaron Joseph Kenna and Katie Frances Kenna.

Frank enjoyed a long career with Southern California Edison as a
lineman. After retirement he relocated to Bonham, Texas and married his
current wife Tammie and raised daughter, Cassie Dorau and son, Nicholas
Dorau. Frank became a certified peer group counselor at Clyde W. Cosper
Texas State Veterans Nursing Home and at the Sam Rayburn Memorial
Veterans Center. He really enjoyed giving back and providing support to
area veterans, specifically Vietnam veterans who suffer from drug and
alcohol abuse.

He was a Catholic and a proud member of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe. He
treasured his heritage and the annual Fort Mojave Elders trips where he
could reconnect with friends and relatives.

Frank is survived by his wife, Tammie Kenna; sons, Aaron Joseph Kenna
and Nicholas Dorau and wife Stephanie; daughters, Katie Frances Sackett
and husband Howard and Cassie Dorau and husband Brian Vogel; brother,
Michael Kenna Sr.; sisters, Patricia Kenna Madueno and Bernadette Kenna
Diaz and husband Richard; grandchildren, Kodi Dorau, Mercedes Oliver and
McKenna Sackett; and many nieces and nephews.

Frank was a strong, funny and whole hearted loving husband, father,
grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He will be deeply missed and loved by all.

Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (CA Time) 5:00 pm to
7:00 pm (AZ time) on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Desert Lawn Funeral
Home, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, AZ.

Rosary will be said at 9:30 am (CA time) 10:30 am (AZ time) on
Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 218 D Street,
Needles, California.

Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 am (CA time) 11:00 am (AZ time)
Burial will immediately follow the mass at Needles Riverview Cemetery.
