| Bradbury Memorial Center - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Wesley Shannon, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away at home on December 2, 2021. Wesley was born in Inglewood, California on January 2, 1962 and spent most of his life in the Los Angeles area. He attended Lutheran High School in Burbank and joined the United States Navy in 1979 and was stationed in Sicily, Italy. Wesley was a big guy with a bigger personality. If he was in the vicinity, you knew it. He was a fantastic cook and spent the majority of his professional life in the restaurant business. He specialized in BBQ and for a time ran his own place, “Big Daddy’s Q House.” He also enjoyed construction, obtained a state contractor’s license and ran a crew for a time. In recent years Wesley prepared BBQ via catered events large and small. Wesley moved to Arizona about eight years ago. He found great comfort in his faith and his church, and was able to reconnect recently with many friends and family. Wesley is survived by his siblings Lauren Elliott of Los Angeles, California, Anthony Shannon of Savannah, Georgia, Robin Houston of Inglewood, California, Maurice Shannon of Denver, Colorado, Miana Gamble of Savannah, Georgia, and daughters Christiana Neazer of Rialto, California, and Barbie Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada, and beloved family and friends.
