Patricia "Patty" Mary Prell, age 84, a resident of Bullhead City, Ariz.,
passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. She was born to Herbert and
Mary Westrich on November 2, 1937 in Medford, Wis. and was a native of
Medford until moving to Oregon in 1978 for her work in the U.S. Forest
Service.
She retired from the U.S. Forest Service in 1999 and moved to Bullhead
City, Ariz. with her husband, Gerald "Jerry", in 2005. Patty's interests
were varied, including: spending time with her large family, keeping up
with current events, singing, and attending shows.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald (2017); and daughter,
Barbara.
She is survived by two sons, Mark (Debbra) Prell of Ore. and Kent
(Debra) Prell of Va.; three daughters, Debra (Dan) Warnock of Ore.,
DeAnne (Dale) Young of Va., and Jeryl Prell of Ore.; one brother,
Kenneth Westrich of Minn.; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren
(with one on the way in April 2022).
Patty was a beautiful, loving, and intelligent woman; Mother;
Grandmother; and Great-Grandmother, who will be deeply
missed and affectionately remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in honor of both
Patricia and Gerald Prell.
