| Published by Today's News Herald on Jan. 5, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Christina Strahler O'Brien, 90, passed away Dec. 24, 2021, in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Clarence and Leora Strahler, July 17, 1931, in Waterford, Ohio. She met and married the love of her life, Robert O'Brien, on March 31, 1956. They shared almost 60 years together and had eight children. She led a joyful life full of love. Chris was an RN for more than 50 years. She loved volunteering at the church and spending time with family. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen O'Brien, Jeanne (Duane) Baugh, Colleen (Scott) Porter, Charlene (Roger) Deqenhart, and Margaret (Rick) Layman; her sons, Steven O'Brien, Wayne O'Brien, and Bruce (Kay) O'Brien; her nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, seven sisters, and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O'Brien, and her grandson, Adam O'Brien. A rosary will be held on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church starting at 12:30 p.m, followed by a memorial mass starting at 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens starting at 2 p.m. Afterwards, there will be a reception held at Our Lady of The Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Our Lady of The Lake School. Arrangements were placed into the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory. See Also: Find A Grave |
