Robert Homer Clevidence (Bob), aged 80, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at his home in Aguila. Bob fought and won a long battle with cancer but suffered a heart attack and was unable to fully recover.

He is survived by his Son Robert L. Clevidence and long time girlfriend, Peggy Ann Davis. He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Lou Clevidence and son Rodney Clevidence.

Bob was born Oct. 26, 1939, in Illinois. He eventually settled in Aguila with his family and opened a machine shop.

To everyone who knew him, he was a loyal patriot, a fierce friend and a truly honest and decent soul. Bob volunteered and served his country in Vietnam as an aircraft engine mechanic. He was an exceptional inventor, tool and die maker, gunsmith, and machinist. Bob also had a smile that could melt the coldest of hearts. He will be missed by so many.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services. But anyone who wishes to attend the scattering of ashes is more than welcome to join us at Bob's favorite getaway "range", "just behind the Eagle's Eye." If you knew Bob, you know where to meet us. Date to be determined.

Friends may offer online condolences at www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory.
