| Published by Yuma Sun on Jan. 7, 2022 - Yuma, Arizona >> Ariel G. Castillo << >> June 1, 1991 - December 21, 2021 - She is survived by Carlos Castillo (Susana Valencia) father, Susan James, mother, Carlos Eric Castillo (brother), Damian Castillo (brother). Jazzmin Colina (sister), Paulo Castillo (brother), Dominick Torres (brother). Ariel was a very loving human being but as gracious, talented and sensitive to others as she was she was also very humble and down to earth; never boasting or asked for anything but rides and shelter. As a starving student she would struggle with her appearance and getting around but would take the bus to school which was AWC and later U of A in Tucson. She never complained just rode along. It all paid off when she achieved her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Art. Her favorite thing to do as she posted in her Instagram, arielc005, was spending time with family and friends. In her limited trips to Yuma, her favorite spots were Chile Pepper or Ronnie's Pizza. As a final note, her brother Dominick said it best, "She gave us something she wasn't supposed to." I thought for a moment on what he meant by that and he finished his thought with, "A broken heart." Fly high our beloved Ariel, the sky is your canvas now!
