Born January 27th, 1963 and passed away on December 30th, 2021 at Yuma
Regional Medical Center.

Graduated from San Pasqual High School where he played Baseball,
Football and Wrestled, he also attended Imperial Valley College where he
played Football. Rod worked at various fast-food restaurants, Circle K's
and also worked for the Tribe.

Rod loved being out and about with people he loved and cared about and
making new friends. He was a friendly and caring man. He loved watching
The Atlanta Braves and 49ers games, he loved watching Action, Western
and Sports movies and listening to all genres of music. He loved
spending time with his children and especially his Grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Duro Johnson (Cassandra Antone),
Danielle (Jose Arturo Gonzalez)and Rachael Johnson. Grandchildren,
Steven, Aleena, Lelah, Karra, Emilia, Ayianna, Aria, Cougar, Bear,
Aubrey, Raymond, little Steven and Ayshia. Sisters Dawn, Melissa
Roosevelt, Marla, Valerie Jose and numerous Nieces, Nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by Marlow Jose Sr., Linda Mary Roosevelt, Jerry
and Imogene Johnson, Sister Mary Lynn Machichi, Brothers Marlow Jose Jr.
and Alex Roosevelt

Pallbearers will be Joseph N. Jose, Joseph Laurenzana, Matthew
Laurenzana, Sam Laurenzana, Steven Johnson, Cougar Gonzalez, Bear
Gonzalez, Manuel Flores Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers are Scott Marks, Martin Ayala, Quentin Barley,
Milson Jose, Michael Valdez, Sheldon Blackwater, Norman Osborne, Joseph
Jose

Funeral Services will be at Yuma Mortuary on January 9th, 2022. Family
Viewing 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Public viewing 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
Traditional tribal Ceremony will be at the Quechan Big house at 12 pm
and Cremation at 5pm.
