CONNARD, Joan

Published by the Miner on Jan. 15, 2022 - Kingman, Arizona - In Loving Memory of Joan Connard. Our Mom, Joan, passed away Nov. 30, 2021. She was 86 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Joseph and Freda; brother Joseph; and sisters Dorothy and Shirley. Joan is survived by her sister Freda “Sis” Taylor of Stratford, New Jersey; daughters Cheryl “Cheri” Forsyth and Shelly OHarro of Kingman, Arizona; and her son Robert “Bob” Connard (Raquel) of Wasilla, Alaska. Her grandchildren Richie (Lien) Epps and Trevor Epps both reside in Lake Havasu City, Arizona; Max OHarro of Las Vegas, Nevada; Shavonne Patchell and Shyanne Honea both reside in Ardmore, Oklahoma; and five great- grandchildren. Joan enjoyed life; she was independent, loved decorating for all holidays, loved the wolves, dogs, cats, horses and the many other critters she had throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed baking and spending time with family and friends. In prior years, she stayed in Alaska during the summer months. Joan enjoyed hunting in Arizona and fishing in Alaska. Joan was cremated at Sutton Funeral Home. There was a private family Celebration of Life. Due to COVID no other services or celebrations are planned at this time.
