John Lenson

John Lenson, 79, was born to Victor and Mildred Lenson in Artesia,
California on Oct. 2, 1942. He married Karen Kurtz July 23, 1966 in
Bellflower, Ca. He graduated from Bellflower High School in Bellflower,
Ca. in 1961. John joined the National Guard in 1964 and later joined the
U.S. Army. He worked overseas as a civilian in South Vietnam from 1968-
1972. He lived in Southern Ca. from 1972-1998 where he started 3
different retail businesses over the years.

In 1998 he and his wife move to Lake Havasu City where he worked for
Lumbermen's / Builders First Source for close to 20 years. John was a
member of Lake Havasu Elks. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Lake
Catholic Church.

John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen; Son, Victor (Delia)
Lenson of San Jacinto, Ca; Daughter Maris Lenson of Anaheim, Ca.; two
grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents and sister
Arlene Caquelin.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of
the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Dr. LHC. John will be
interred at Havasu Memorial Cemetery at a later date. The family
requests in lieu of flowers, memorials to be made to Our Lady of the
Lake Catholic School.
