| Published by Today's News-Herald on Jan. 21. 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - James J. Elliott, 89, passed peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 12, 2021. Jim was widowed after a 58-year marriage to Carol V. Elliott in 2024. They were long-time residents of Lake Havasu City. Together for 23 years, and for Jim, a total of 30 years. Jim had three sons of whom, was survived by two sons/two daughter-in- laws, Scott and Paula Elliott, Jim W. and Kandy Elliott. His son, Joseph, preceded him to eternal peace. He also was survived by his eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Jim served our country in the US Army in the Korean war, and upon his honorable discharge, he became an electrician for the IBEW Local 11 for 37 years. Jim enjoyed boating on the lake, entertaining friends and family at his home. He is and will always be missed by all who knew him. Services, including a 12:30 p.m. rosary and a 1 p.m. memorial mass, are planned for Jan. 29, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1975 Daytona Ave. See Also: Find A Grave |
