| Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 19 to Jan. 24, 2022 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Diane Emerson, age 77, a resident of Bullhead City, passed away of pneumonia on Friday, December 17, 2021 in the evening at WARMC Hospital. She is now with God and his angels in Heaven. Diane was born on April 25, 1944 in Huntington, Long Island, New York, in the same town as her mother and grandmother. She graduated Huntington High School and later attended some college in California. Diane retired to Bullhead City many years ago. She married John Emerson and will be buried with him in the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nev. Diane was extremely active in the Desert Shores Community Baptist Church greeting parishioners every Sunday at the door with her sunny smile. She also taught children in the Church's JOY After School program since its inception, putting to use her twenty plus years of child-care experience. Diane had a heart of gold and a spirit for the Lord. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Larsen who also lives in Bullhead City, Arizona. See Also: Find A Grave |
