Bullhead City, Arizona -

Kathleen B. Fie-Peterson, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home in
Bullhead City, Arizona on Monday, January 24, 2022. Kathy was born in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 15,1953, the only child of Harry
and Catherine Cuthbert.

Kathy graduated from high school and college in the Philadelphia area
with a background in education/admission, and worked in that field at
post-secondary educational institutions in the Philadelphia area for
nineteen years. Preparing for her permanent move to Bullhead City in
November 1999, Kathy obtained her paralegal degree to start a new career
in a new city. Working as a paralegal for only four months, Kathy
switched direction and became employed by the Laughlin Visitors
Bureau/LVCVA, helping to promote tourism to the Laughlin area and other
Clark County outlying destinations. She retired in June 2020, after 20
years of happy and fulfilling employment, making many friends along the
way.

Kathy's additional career in Laughlin, teaching Line Dancing, was a true
labor of love. Dancing was her joy, exuberance and passion, and Kathy
strived to impart those feelings to everyone she encountered on the
dance floor. Kathy's endearing smile and energetic personality was
contagious, and she easily made friends and strong bonds with numerous
people throughout her lifetime.

Kathy was preceded in death by both her parents; and her husband, Melvin
LaMar Peterson Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Alyson (Richard) Evanson;
grandchildren, Cassidy (Worthy) Lindsey, Collin Evanson, Ricky Evanson;
and her two fur-babies, Sugar and Spice.
