| Published by Yuma Sun on Feb. 9, 2022 - Yuma, Arizona >> Henry (Henky) Benzor << >> July13, 1942 - January 27, 2022 << Henry passed away at YRMC with his family at his side; wife Maria Benzor, stepdaughter, Mara Ortega (fka Gayler), and step-grandchildren, Marlie Gayler, Angie Gayler, Ronnie Gayler (Kayla Moran), and Joseph Gayler. Born in Yuma, Arizona he was the youngest of Quirino Benzor and Aurora Bedoya's 4 children. He lived in Yuma, Arizona all his life and worked many years for The University of Arizona - Yuma Agricultural Center, before he retired from diesel and farm equipment job. Henry loved his dogs very much; he raised and cared for his dogs like children. Henry is survived by his wife of 74 years, Mara Elena Benzor who misses him very much; his stepchildren, Maria Ortega (fka Gayler), Maggie Ortega, and Arturo Ortega; his children, David Chapo Benzor and Alberta Benzor; his sisters, Hilda (Raymond) Miranda and Hortense Rivera; his step-grandchildren, grandchildren, great-step grandchild, great- grandchildren and many cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents Quirino and Aurora, his daughter, Angela Benzor, his sister Lydia Benzor, and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:30 am, 417 15th Avenue Yuma, Arizona 85364. Funeral Services at Yuma Pioneer Cemetery will follow.
