OLSEN, Scott Robert

Scott Robert Olsen left this world on March 7, 2009. He was involved in a hiking accident in Kaiser Springs Canyon, Ariz. Scott died doing what he loved and will always be remembered as a great outdoorsman.

There are no words to adequately describe Scott as he was one of a kind. Scott was born on Sept. 8, 1988 and even though he was only with us for a short, he managed to touch people in a way that no one else did.

Scott is survived by his father and mother, Ken and Cynthia Olsen and his three sisters, Jessica Lingley, Kristin and Kelsey Olsen, as well as his grandmother Mary Johnson.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 1500 W. Maryland Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85015. Reception to follow on site.
