Charles Jacob Jones, 92, a retired salesman who moved to Tucson 30 years ago from Kansas City, died Thursday in a Phoenix hospital.

Mr. Jones, 1302 W. Mulberry, resided in Phoenix the past 15 years. He retired in 1950. He was born in Hume, Mo.

Private services will be held tomorrow in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Southlawn Memorial Park, Tucson.

Surviving are two sons, Charles L. and Paul R., both of Phoenix; a sister, Leila Jones of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
