Dallas Richard Adams

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Dallas Richard Adams, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 29,
2022. He was born on March 24, 1937, in Payson, Utah, to Dallas and
Julia Marie Adams.

Dallas married his wife of 64 years, Barbara, on August 21, 1957, in
Spanish Fork, Utah. Being in the Air Force, they went to Texas, Luke Air
Force Base, Phoenix, Azores Island in Portugal, Hickam Air Force Base,
Hawaii, and Travis Air Force Base, California, where he retired at the
age of 43 years old. They loved the military and traveling all over with
their two sons.

He was a treasury officer for the Internal Revenue Service for 20 years.
He was an enrolled agent. He owned his own business, called DR Tax
Service. The business will now be called B and D Adams Tax. His right-
hand was Rachel, and she will be continuing his business in his absence.
He was a life member of the American Legion Post 81, the Veterans of
Foreign Wars, and the Elks Lodge. He loved fishing, boating, spending
time on the river, camping all over, and spending time with his
grandkids in the RV. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints. He was also an Elder of the church and an Eagle
Scout.

Dallas is survived by his wife, Barbara Adams of Lake Havasu City,
Arizona; his sons, Stuart B. Adams (Regina) of Lake Havasu City, Arizona
and Jeff W. Adams (Kristin) of Vacaville, California; his grandchildren,
Derek R. Adams (Elhom), Adrienne F. Adams, and Sydney D. Adams; and his
dog, Sadie. Dallas was famous for saying "you have something on your
cheek and it's a kiss."

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Julia Marie
Adams, and his siblings, Gary Adams, Robert Adams, and Sharon Adams.
No celebration of life will be held. There will only be a small, private
family gathering.
