Barbara D. Harris, our beloved wife, mom, and grandma, entered into her
sweet eternal rest at her home in Mohave Valley, Arizona, on Saturday,
February 19, 2022, at the age of 84, after a lengthy illness. Barbara
was born in Fullerton, California on September 30, 1937.

Barbara never worked outside the home, focusing her life on raising her
two children and later her grandchildren.

She was always there for her family, supporting and helping them in any
way she could, often sacrificing her needs and wants. She lived for her
granddaughters, and they contribute their values and wonderful childhood
to their grandma's raising.

She loved going to church with her family and felt it was her life's
calling and ministry to play the piano/keyboard. She also enjoyed
crocheting and knitting and watching "The Waltons".

In her final years, months and days, her family felt it their privilege
to return the favor by taking care of her in the comfort of her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Norma Leach; and one
brother, Ronald Leach.

Barbara was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma, and is survived by her
loving family: Bennie, her devoted husband of 68 years; daughter, Glenda
Harris Schuler of Henderson, Nev.; son, Jon (Jessy) Harris; and two
grandchildren, Kayla and Kelci of Mohave Valley. Our hearts have a huge
hole now with her going home.

Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am with services at 11 am on
Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home. Internment
following the service at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements by Desert Lawn Funeral Home.
