It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our father;
grandfather; and friend, Jon Lindbergh. He passed on Thursday, December
2, 2021 from complications of Covid-19. He was born on March 28, 1940 to
John and Mary Victoria Lindberg in Baldwin Park, California. He was an
only child.
Jon had many jobs: an electrician who worked at Davis Dam, The Boy
Scouts of America, he started Mercy Ab-Medic 12 in 1984 (the first
private ambulance in Laughlin, Nevada), in 1988 he entered the Fire
Academy becoming FF/EMT and went on to become a Swiftwater Rescue, High
Angle Rescue instructor.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Kathy in
2006; and he lost his daughter, Debra Blake just 15 days after his
passing; and his granddaughter, Savanna Hartley the next day.
He is survived by his daughter's, Vickie (Bill) Easley, Cheryl (Andrew)
Simmonds, Bambi Lindberg, and Bunnie (Tim) Hartley; son, John Jr; and
son-in law, Kevin Blake; and many grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 5, 2022
in the Star View Room at the Riverside Casino, Laughlin, Nev.
