Published by Today's News Herald on Mar. 2, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Carolyn (Wilson) Mountjoy, was born Sept. 4, 1938, in Kingston Pennsylvania to Raymond and Marguette Wilson. She went to Kingston Borough Public School and graduated from Kingston High School in June 1956 where she played volleyball and sang with the choir. She went on to work for Bell Telephone in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, Pennsbury schools in Levittown Pennsylvania, as well as Havasu Regional Hospital here in Lake Havasu City. She married George T. Mountjoy Sr. on Jan. 10, 1959 and they had three children together: Judi A, Jennifer L, and George Jr. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband George Sr., daughters Judi A. Mountjoy of Baxter Springs, Kansas; Jennifer Berryman of Placerville, California; son George Mountjoy Jr. of Lake Havasu City; sister Judy Scouten of Yardley, Pennsylvania; as well as five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two sisters, Barbara and Audrey and one brother, Raymond. Carolyn enjoyed many years of RV-ing in many states in the USA and providences of Canada. She was a wonderful at-home cook, as well as she took joy in square dancing. She danced with the London Bridge Squares, as well as in Hawaii, and the Farthest North Square Dance Club in Fairbanks Alaska. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be greatly missed. Services will be held at a later date.
