Dolores Irene (Kennedy) Moscou

Dolores Irene Moscou, 94, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away at
the Jasmine House on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Dolores was born in Mulberry, Indiana on October 25, 1927; daughter of
Paul Eugene and Myrtle Ruth (Peterson) Kennedy. She graduated from
Hinsdale High School in Illinois. Dolores then attended Knox College and
graduated in 1949 with a B.A. in Psychology. After college, she worked
for Liberty Mutual in Chicago. Dolores later worked for Chevron,
retiring in 1984.

Dolores married George O. Thayer and they had two daughters together,
Margaret and Barbara. They divorced. Dolores met and later married Leon
Moscou, who sadly passed away in 2012.

Dolores loved working for Chevron. When she moved to Havasu, she enjoyed
volunteering and conducting meetings for the Fire Department Auxillary.
Dolores also enjoyed watching golf in her spare time.

Dolores is survived by her daughters, Margaret Ann Folsom and Barbara
Jane Thayer; grandsons, Carrie B. Morrell and Clayton Morrell; brother,
Dwight Kennedy; sister, Julia Beckman; sister-in-law, Mildred Killion;
and many step family members and friends. She is preceded in death by
her parents, Paul and Myrtle; both husbands, George and Leon; brother,
Rev. Stanley Kennedy; and sister, Mollie Wilscam.

Celebration of Life to be held at Desert Hills Fire Department on March
11, 2022 at 1:00 pm

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Desert Hills Fire Department
or the Sheriffs K-9 Unit.

Arrangements were placed in the care of Desert Lawn Funeral Home – Lake
Havasu City.
