| Published by Today's News Herald on Mar. 6, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Thomas Bruce Sanders Sr., 86, passed away peacefully in Lake Havasu City, AZ, on February 24, 2022. He was born on December 15, 1936, in Hershey, PA, to George and Pauline (Fromm) Sanders. On March 5, 1955, he married Phyllis Irene Bracale. They were married for 66 years and had five children. His wife, Phyllis, passed away 4 short months ago on October 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pauline (Fromm) Sanders; and brothers, Donald, George, John and Kenneth Sanders. Thomas is survived by daughter, Diane (Brian) Waite; sons Thomas B. (Lorna) Sanders Jr., Lake Havasu City, AZ; Steven (Lisa) Sanders, Kingman, AZ; daughters, Bernadette (Brad) Chamberlain, Lake Havasu City, AZ; and Lorraine; grandchildren, Danielle Waite, Denisse Waite, Nicholas Waite, Thomas R. Sanders, William Sanders, Colton Chamberlain, Heather Heckert, seven great-grandchildren; and his sister Carol. Thomas's hobbies included gardening and fishing. Thomas will be greatly missed by many including his beloved dog, Ozzie. The family would like to thank the staff at Beacon of Hope Hospice Kingman and Lake Havasu City as well as the staff of Prestige Assisted Living at Claremont for the loving care and help shown to Thomas in his final days.
