| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, May 1, 1942 SAD NEWS RECEIVED Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thompson of Wickenburg were called to Prescott Wednesday due to the death of Mr. Thompson's mother, Mrs. Amber Thompson, who died at 1:45 Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mirrell Jones of Prescott. She had been seriously ill since Easter. Mrs. Thompson, a native of Illinois, was born September 30, 1870. She had resided in Prescott 24 years. In addition to her daughter, her son, Roy, she is survived by another son, Jack, of Needles, and they are both employed by the Santa Fe railroad. There are four grandchildren.
