Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Havasu pioneer Bonnie Miller passed away peacefully on March 2 at the
Polidori House.

The eldest daughter of Corrine (Huntsman) and Clarence Pollard, she was
born on the family farm in Ash, Missouri on May 1, 1928. In 1946, she
married Preston Woodson. Together, they had two sons, Steven Odell
Woodson and James Scott Woodson. In 1967, she married Weldon Miller in
San Diego, California. There, they owned Western Safe and Vault Co. In
1968, they moved to Lake Havasu, and the following year, they opened
Western Safe, Lock and Alarm.

Bonnie loved Lake Havasu and all the people living here. She loved
helping the town get its start, and enjoyed visiting with customers, new
and old, at the shop. She volunteered at the VFW and DAV. Morning coffee
with friends at Jerry's restaurant, and, later, the Black Bear Diner was
her routine for years.

Bonnie was preceded in death by husband, Weldon Miller; parents, Corrine
and Clarence Pollard; brother, Johnnie Ben Pollard; and sisters, Jaunita
Faye (Rogers) and Sharon Sue (Kirtley). She is survived by sons Steven
Woodson and James Scott Woodson (Karen); and granddaughters, Megan
Woodson (Maximilian Agge) and Mallory Bondra (Antonio); great-
grandchildren, Sailor and Luca Bondra, great-niece, Amy Gross (Jason),
as well as, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to thank Nurse Shelby at the hospital for her
kindness, as well as to the staff at the Polidori House for their care.
