Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Shirley May Gilvin Ayers was born to Walter and Marie Gilvin on
September 14, 1937, in Los Angeles, CA. Shirley was the oldest of four
children. She was named after her mother's love for Shirley Temple
movies, and Shirley May became one of her biggest fans.

Shirley loved to go on road trips, cook a pot of beans and meatloaf, go
to Hawaii, and watch a mystery on television with a bowl of popcorn and
a Pepsi.

Shirley lived in many interesting places such as Sharpsburg Kentucky,
Kona, Hawaii, Port Hueneme, CA, and Pendleton, Oregon, before making a
permanent home in the San Fernando Valley during her adult life. As a
single mom, she worked hard to provide a life for her children and
instilled the importance of hard work in them. Shirley's family has been
vacationing in Lake Havasu since the 1960's before moving here
permanently in 2006.

Shirley was welcomed to heaven on March 15, 2022 by her children,
Walter, Sharon, and Joyce; her beloved mom, Marie; her dad, Walter; her
brother, Walter, and her nephews, Orrin and Curtis.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her family left on earth. Her spirit
will continue to live on through her children, Debby, James, Johnny, and
Jason; Daughter-in-laws, Tina, Melodie, and Sharon; her grandchildren,
Melissa, Michele, Daniel, Melody, Martin, Brandon, Taylor, Tyler and
Savannah; her great-grandchildren Dylan, Spencer, and Shayne; sisters,
Joanne and Dorothy; brother-in-law Graham; and nieces and nephews,
Jackie, Pam, Gary, Lane, George, Lance, Ole, Michael, Amber, and Ricky.

Shirley had a spirit that will never be forgotten; to know her, was to
love her. Shirley's spirit will forever be celebrated by her family.
