REIERSON, Sherry Eileen

Published by Today's News Herald from Mar. 23, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Sherry Eileen Reierson passed away at the age of 88, on March 6, 2022, in Lake Havasu City. She was born in Los Angeles on Dec. 1, 1933. She attended high school at Redondo Union High School. She worked for Bank of America in Carson, California as an operations manager. She also was a real estate agent/broker in Westminster, California. She married her husband, Donald Wilbur Reierson on Dec. 4, 1952. Sherry enjoyed square dancing and camping. She adored cats and dogs. She was a member of the Eagles, the Elks, square dancing clubs and was the treasurer of Roamers RV Club. Sherry is preceded in death by her husband Donald Wilbur Reierson, and her son, Douglas Donald Reierson. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Eileen (Reierson) Valentin, of California, and Debbie Lorraine (Reierson-Michalka) Huff, of Arizona, and son, Daniel Leavitt Reierson, of Arizona; Grandson, Michael Anthony Cholley; great-granddaughter, Caylin Cholley, and sister-in-law, Joyce Shirley (Reierson) Sayre-Smith; all of California; and longtime friend and companion, Sylvester (Whitey) Waldron with whom she shared 15 wonderful years. She also is survived by other family and friends. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
